I heard this is a good site, I liked the aspect of having this little blog here, so let's just write something here for my first post.
I have been producing music in a demo version of a DAW, and I really hate being stuck with it.
I hate being without money.
My only hopes right now lie in that I'll be able to convince my parents to "invest" some money in this. My current equipment is really low-end.
To conclude this first post, I really hope this is a better site than Soundcloud, and that you can actually get people to listen to your stuff here.
Maybe one day, someone will read this post here, and understand my struggles.

Looks like you're off to a decent start with a music upload and a post in the Audio Forum. Posting in the audio forum is a good way to get noticed by other musicians on the site.
We have a scouting system where musicians scout each other, to help ensure that music promoted in the main Audio Portal listings isn't stolen and is decent quality. I think the scouting system causes a lot of confusion for newcomers although overall it has worked pretty well.
Hope you have some luck with getting the equipment you want!
